# GCash

A popular ewallet used in the Philippines and across the APAC region.

### What is GCash?

GCash is a financial services company and [eWallet](https://docs.rapyd.net/en/glossary.md#UUID-945d98cf-adae-e1cf-2606-c7fae8b4a7e1_ewallet "eWallet") based in the Philippines. Customers can download the GCash app on their mobile phone, and add their bank account or remittance options to the eWallet. Customers can also [top-up](https://docs.rapyd.net/en/glossary.md#UUID-945d98cf-adae-e1cf-2606-c7fae8b4a7e1_top-up "Top-up") their eWallet through cash-over-the-counter. Purchases can be made with any merchant that accepts the GCash payment method or GCash issued card.

### User Experience

When a customer wants to make a payment online, they will select GCash ewallet, select Place Your Order, and be redirected to login with GCash and confirm the final payment details.

1. Checkout with GCash ewallet > Select **Place Your Order**.
2. Redirect to the GCash landing page.

3. Login with GCash

4. Authorize the payment by clicking **Pay PHP**.

5. Once payment is confirmed, the page redirects to the Merchant website.
