Rapyd App Features

The Rapyd App runs on many models of PAX terminals.

This manual is for Rapyd merchants in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Hardware Features

The supported PAX terminals offer the following features:

  • Touch screen for a seamless user experience.

  • Good wireless connectivity (4G and Wi-Fi).

  • PCI PTS compliant for safe and secure card payments.

  • Wide range of payment options - chip and PIN, Apple Pay, Android Pay, swipe, contactless and card-not-present.

  • High-speed printing.

Software Features

The Rapyd App provides the following features:

  • The app is developed and supported by payment specialists at Rapyd.

  • One device can support up to ten merchants.

  • Supports both online and offline PIN operations.

  • You can void any transaction before midnight of the same day.

  • It is easy to do completions with the pre-auth receipt.

  • The terminal can function even if there is no paper.

  • You can void a pre-auth that has not been completed.

  • The app monitors battery status and turns off the terminal when it is not in use or when the battery is getting very low.

  • The app supports multiple languages and currencies. To change your configuration, contact Technical Support. Supported languages:

    • Spanish

  • You can select from two colour layouts with the app settings - dark mode or light mode.
