# Refund

Full or partial refund of a payment.

When the payment status is **CLO** (closed), you can refund all or part of the money collected. There is no limit on the number of refunds as long as the total does not exceed the amount of the payment. The money is returned to the payment method that was used for the payment.

> **Note:**
>
> - If the payment is to multiple wallets, you can create a proportional refund to all of them, or a non-proportional refund to some or all of them.
> - If you create a second or subsequent refund to multiple wallets, the refunds must all be proportional or all non-proportional.
