Supported Currencies
A list of currencies supported across Rapyd Collect, Disburse, and Virtual Accounts.
Rapyd processes payments using over 100 currencies, allowing you to collect and send payments to your customers or beneficiaries in their local currency.
Supported currencies are used in a few different ways:
Presentment currency - the currency the customer is presented and charged in.
Settlement currency - the currency that is deposited into your bank account.
Payout currency - the currency that the beneficiary bank receives.
If the presentment currency is different from your settlement currency, Rapyd will convert your funds to the settlement currency.
Supported Currency Workflow
You charge your customer in the presentment currency of your choice.
The presentment currency you collect is transferred to your Rapyd Wallet as a wallet currency.
Rapyd converts the funds to your preferred settlement currency, or disburses the funds to a beneficiary.

Rapyd Collect is a global payment acceptance platform that allows businesses to transact with their locally preferred payment methods.

Disburse
Disburse is a global payout platform that incorporates a broad range of payout methods.
Funds are sent or disbursed to a beneficiary, usually for payroll purposes or remittance. Transactions can be cross-border or local.
The list below represents the payout currency, which is sent to the beneficiary bank. This differs from the sender currency, which are the funds the sender provides when initiating a payout.

Settlement Currencies
If the presentment currency differs from the settlement currency, the presentment currency will be converted into one of the settlement currencies using standard foreign exchange rates.
