# Wallet Types

There are several types of wallet:

- **Client** - The client wallet has one business contact and multiple personal contacts. The client wallet is the base for settlement operations and reports. When you pass the [KYB](https://docs.rapyd.net/en/glossary.md#UUID-945d98cf-adae-e1cf-2606-c7fae8b4a7e1_kyb "Know Your Business") check, your client wallet is set to one of the following types, as determined by your contract:

  - **collect** - For collect (payment) transactions only.
  - **disburse** - For disbursement (payout) transactions only.
  - **issuing** - For issued cards only.
  - **general** - For all purposes.
- **Company** - This wallet is suitable for a business or organization that is not the client. It has one business contact and multiple personal contacts.
- **Person** - This wallet is for a consumer or end user. It has a single personal contact.
