# Western Union

Cash payment method used in Ecuador.

### What is Western Union?

A cash payment can be made to your business by paying a local cashier. Cash can be offered as an online payment option and customers will receive a paycode after confirming the payment. A local network POS location is used to deliver the over-the-counter cash payment by the customer.

### User Experience

When a customer wants to make a payment online, they will select the appropriate cash payment option, select pay and receive a payment reference to bring to a local payment point to pay.

1. Checkout online and select cash payment.
2. Select **Pay**.
3. Receive the payment reference including the Paycode.

4. Go to the nearest local payment point with a cashier.
5. Present the paycode and pay with cash at the cashier.
6. The payment is processed and the merchant is notified.
