Transaction Status Messages
Core broadcasts TRANSACTION_STATUS_ACTION during a transaction to report progress. The TRANSACTION_STATUS extra contains one of the following string values:

| Transaction flow has begun |
| PICC (NFC/contactless) card detected |
| ICC (chip) card inserted |
| Magnetic stripe swiped |
| PIN entry is requested from the cardholder |
| Offline PIN entry is requested |
| Acquirer has approved the transaction |
| Acquirer has declined the transaction |
| Transaction flow has ended |
| Card read failed — cardholder should retry |
| Signature capture has started |
| Signature capture is complete |
