A payout method type is a type of payout method that the client can use to pay money out of the Rapyd wallet, for example es_general_bank, bank transfer to Spain. The name of the payout method type starts with a prefix for the country, the 2-letter ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code. If the payout method is valid in multiple countries, the prefix is xx_. The payout method type has a suffix with one of the following values:
_bank - Bank transfer
_card - Credit card, debit card or other card
_cash - Cash
_ewallet - Local eWallet
If the payout method is a card, the sensitive card details or the beneficiary can be handled only by a merchant that is PCI compliant or an app that is under the exclusive control of the card holder. A merchant that is not PCI compliant can use a beneficiary ID ('token') that is generated by a hosted page. To generate a beneficiary ID, use one of the following methods:
Create Beneficiary - For clients with PCI clearance.
Create Beneficiary Tokenization Page - For all clients.
