Getting Started with the POSitive app
The terminal should be preloaded with the POSitive app before it is issued to the merchant. If not, contact POS Terminal Support. To start processing sales, just log in.
When the terminal arrives, you (the merchant) should contact the support team, and request the admin login details. This is a security measure to ensure that the terminal cannot be used if it falls into the wrong hands.
Once you have a login, you can get started.
The first thing you may want to do is change your password.
You may also want to adjust your display settings - change the brightness, wallpaper, etc, although these will be set to accommodate your business as part of the setup.
You can also adjust the app settings, specifying the timeout for card presentation, whether you want to print receipts, and so on.
If you have a supervisor login, you can create and manage other users.
