Troubleshooting Ingenico Wi-Fi Terminals
Terminal does not connect
Terminal does not connect. The connection boxes show green but the terminal does not process anything and says no connection with DIAG 10101010.
Cause - Firewall from the router blocking the terminal connection.
Suggested solution - Contact your internet provider or log into the admin page of the router and turn off the firewall.
Transactions do not process
Transactions do not process. There is no Wi-Fi signal or name at the top of the screen.
Cause - No Wi-Fi connection.
Suggested solution - Reconnecting to the Wi-Fi differs slightly depending on the terminal. In general:
Select an active profile.
Remove all profiles.
Re-add only the profile you want to connect to.
Restart the router and then the terminal.
Check the lights on the router.
Functions are not available
Usual functions are not available. The logged-in name shows as active but does not appear at the top of the screen.
Cause - Incorrect priority and password.
Suggested solution
Try the priority 20, 10, 15, then 7, twice each.
Connect a mobile phone to the Wi-Fi and use the same password as is used on the terminal to check the password.
Try to connect the terminal to a mobile hotspot.
