What is CIMB?

CIMB (Commerce International Merchant Bankers) of CIMB Group, is a bank in Malaysia and Indonesia. Customers can pay with their CIMB payment method to online merchants and shops. Customers paying in Indonesia will use the bank transfer payment method while in Malaysia will pay using a bank redirect login.

Bank Redirect in Malaysia

When a customer makes a payment online in Malaysia, they will select the appropriate CIMB bank payment option, select pay and redirect to login and authenticate their payment.

  1. Checkout online and select bank payment.

  2. Select Pay.

  3. Redirect to login into the CIMB bank portal.

  4. Authenticate the payment.

  5. Scan the reference and pay with cash at the cashier.

  6. The payment is processed and the merchant is notified.

Bank Transfer in Indonesia

When a customer wants to make a payment online in Indonesia, they will select the appropriate CIMB bank payment option, select pay and receive the instructions to complete the payment.

  1. Checkout online and select CIMB Virtual Account.

  2. Select Pay.

  3. Redirect to the landing page with payment information including Paycode, etc.

  4. Log into CIMB Bank and go to Transfer > Virtual Account.

  5. Enter in the payment information you received on the landing page and authorize the payment.

  6. Payment confirmation page appears > Close.
