Virtual Account
Bank account number issued to a Rapyd Wallet.
The virtual account can receive funds from any bank using the bank’s own tools. A wallet can have multiple virtual accounts.
When funds are transferred to the virtual account, the funds appear in the wallet’s currency account for the currency of the transfer. You can convert the transferred funds to certain currencies.
Note
In the sandbox, each combination of country and currency always produces the same bank account number. However, each request produces a unique virtual account ID, which is a string starting with issuing_.
Client configuration might allow more than one virtual account number for specific country-currency combinations. For Denmark, all calls produce the same virtual account number regardless of the currency selected.
